Orleans, MA – As part of Cape Cod Five’s Annual Employee Celebration, a donation of $5,000 to Helping Our Women, headquartered in Provincetown, was awarded on behalf of the Bank’s employees.

This donation was nominated by and voted on by the Bank’s employees and was awarded in their honor for their passionate commitment to serving the Bank’s customers and communities.

“We are pleased to support the work of Helping Our Women, which provides profoundly important services to women living with serious illnesses on Cape Cod,” said Dorothy A. Savarese, President and CEO of Cape Cod Five. “We are equally delighted to present this donation on behalf of the Bank’s employees in recognition of their dedication to community service and of their volunteerism with nonprofit organizations across Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket and Southeastern Massachusetts.”

The mission of Helping Our Women is to educate, empower and support women coping with chronic disease and life threatening illnesses who live in the Lower and Outer Cape towns of Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown. Helping Our Women was founded in 1993 and provides direct services to women with serious medical conditions and provides advocacy, referrals and resources to the community.
